FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Allied Images sells CopyStation MFP to West Northamptonshire Development Corporation

Complete IT, an Allied Images reseller, has supplied a CopyStation Cx Multi Function Printer (MFP) to West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (WNDC). WNDC is an Urban Development Corporation established by an order approved in parliament in December 2004 to drive the implementation of the government's development goals in West Northamptonshire - an area bounded by Northampton, Towcester and Daventry. The MFP will be used in WNDC's Northampton offices both as a digital copy system and also as a means of capturing and archiving large format documents including maps, plans, planning applications, sketches and project plans.

CopyStation Cx MFP is a Mutoh DrafStation RJ-900 A0+ printer, Colortrac SmartLF Cx 40e scanner on a Universal Repro Stand (URS) with SCP Colorado scan/copy/print software. The URS allows the scanner to be placed over the printer to form a compact digital copying solution with a small footprint that maximises the use of costly office space. The MFP may be used to make single or multiple copies of large format documents. The copies may be full-size or enlargements/reductions of up to 1000%. Also, you can use the scanner and printer independently to scan full-sized documents to file capturing colour, grey-scale or monochrome drawings, while printing up to 42" wide drawings. Typical documents include architectural designs and renderings, project plans, maps and land usage and many more.

After an initial contact by WNDC, and demonstration by Allied, procurement was placed in the hands of Complete IT, WNDC’s IT solution provider. Following procurement, installation and training were carried out by Allied’s fully-trained hardware and software installation team.
