American Reprographics Company Announces Launch of PlanWell EasyPrint TM for KIP IPS Systems

American Reprographics Company (NYSE: ARP), the nation's leading provider of reprographics services and technology, announced the availability PlanWell EasyPrint for KIP at the recent International Reprographics Association Conference and Tradeshow in Las Vegas May 13-15, 2008. Through a partnership with KIP, the new EasyPrint application is integrated directly with the KIP IPS MF Wide Format System. It allows users to select and immediately print documents from PlanWell Enterprise planrooms utilizing KIP's unique touch-screen interface.

Debuted during the tradeshow on the new KIP 3100 IPS system, PlanWell EasyPrint for KIP lists project planrooms on a single page. Projects, project information and documents are all accessed through a simple easy-to-use workflow that follows a logical progression for printing. Documents can be selected, viewed, assembled into a set and printed immediately on the printer with just a few touches on the screen.

"But on the jobsite or in an office, often all users want is to select and print their documents. That was the premise we started with -- what would a reprographic print kiosk look like? Given the depth and administrative power built into the PlanWell Enterprise online planroom application, the PlanWell EasyPrint interface has been thoughtfully redesigned to accommodate the touch-and-print utility of the new application. Viewing and printing features are easily accessible through an interface and step-by-step workflow similar to a bank's automated teller machine (ATM).
