FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nottingham, UK.

ArtSystems 'Try and Buy' Contex Scanner Programme

See the performance of your next wide format scanner, don’t just read about it!

ArtSystems and Contex have worked together to create the Try and Buy programme for the Contex range of wide format scanners enabling potential users the chance to evaluate their chosen model for up to a two week period.

Jon Jordan, ArtSystems, Scan & 3D Imaging Solutions Product Manager, said "We’ve worked hard to create a range of offerings for end users, the 'Try and Buy' is the most prominent, but we think that market will also respond to the new pricing as well. The real aim is simply to get what we believe is the best wide format scanner on the market today in front of users and let them make their minds up."

'Try and Buy' goes live from February 2009 with the programme planned to run till the June. 'Try and Buy' forms part of a wider reseller channel programme called Refuse to Lose that puts powerful sales resources into the hands of the Contex Authorised resellers.

End users will see immediate benefits with reduced retail prices and the option to take evaluation units at not cost prior to them making a buying decision. The 'Try and Buy' evaluation process starts with the initial request and then ArtSystems will help the end user select the right model for their needs. All the evaluation units are professionally installed and users will receive full training on the unit.

Jon Jordan, ArtSystems, Scan & 3D Imaging Solutions Product Manager, said "‘Try and Buy' will let users experience Contex quality to the full. This will start with impartial advice to help them select the best model for what they want to achieve and then extend through the whole evaluation process. The 'Try and Buy' units will be professionally set by our own engineers and they will get comprehensive training before the evaluation starts. We want users to have all the facts at their disposal before they make a decision and 'Try and Buy' will do just for free!"

ArtSystems will be promoting Try and Buy over the coming weeks and providing support for Contex Resellers as part of the wider programme of reseller channel development.
