The TOUCAN G25 combines the features of its predecessors into a single compact large document scanner that is perfect for offices needing to scan documents up to 25” wide and where floor space is at a premium.

The TOUCAN G25 retains the Contex patented technology found in this new breed of scanner includes, Contex’ Advanced 48-bit CCD Technology for 32,000 pixel image capture, four times more pixels than most other scanners on the market today in its class.

Additional features include, Scan accuracy of 0.1%+- 1 pixel—an industry benchmark, All-Wheel drive for smoothly handling of large originals and flexible connectivity with both FireWire and USB 2.0 for ease of installation and use.

The TOUCAN G25 scanner is Energy Star® and RoHS compliant, two key features on all new Contex scanners. Scanning Superiority and Image Enhancement
The TOUCAN captures color at 48 bit color data capture and 16-bit gray tones for maximum image precision. Using an All-Digital camera with advanced point-of-origin image capture and on-board digital conversion ensures minimum noise and an extended dynamic range.

The scanner contains advanced technology for color and monochrome enhancement providing vivid and clean results from even poor quality originals. All processing is embedded in the hardware enabling the user to perform powerful image enhancement without the typical slow processing speeds of a PC when Post Scan Processing.

One Touch Scanning
