Walk Up Scanning - Scan to USB Stick Now Available
Image Access WideTEK 36
with USB stick
The feature "Walk Up Scanning" of the Scan2Net scanners now operates with an effective tool for scanning directly to a USB stick.
Scanning on "the fastest large format scanner in the world" (according to Bertl test, December 2007) now produces even faster results. The WideTEK 36 is the first scanner in the Scan2Net family to give users the option to scan directly to a USB stick. What we call "Walk Up Scanning" is the possibility to scan and save the data completely operating system independently and even without the need for a client PC.
"Walk Up Scanning" can do even more! Using the intuitive touch screen display, up to 30 different jobs can be defined and stored - if necessary, also password protected. Each of the stored jobs can save the image to any specified location on your network. Not only can you configure templates (i.e. to preset specific scan parameters for color or transparent source documents), you can also configure the job to save all scans in a predefined location on one of your network drives. Additionally, operators can send the image directly to a network printer. This enables distributed scanning across several different departments in the organization.
