Award winning MFP system delivers productivity in a single footprint

KIP logo

KIP, the specialist supplier of wide-format digital reprographic systems based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, has announced the launch of the KIP3100 - a productive, multifunction copy, print and scan system designed to deliver a staggering 5000 metres of output a month.

The system combines high print quality with superior productivity. Six A1 prints per minute represents a 33% increase in speed over the 3100’s predecessor, with no increase in footprint size. This makes it ideal in environments where there is a need for a productive solution, or where a fast response to sudden peaks in demands is a requirement.

Simplicity is the watchword for the KIP3100 with all functions being available through the integrated touchscreen, now a welcome standard throughout the KIP range. The release of the 3100 sees additional features to provide enhanced functionality. These include an indexing and quick print system, for fast simple retrieval of scanned images for printing into collated sets, and an auto link to web ordering which gives a direct link to online support, consumables ordering and metre readings. All of these features are available from the touchscreen interface which now includes an adjustable tilt to aid access by all operators.

The Intelligent Processing Software interface on the KIP 3100 has been enhanced with many other new features to make the printing experience more simple while providing even greater control.

Additionally, the KIP3100 is feature scalable by both functionality and print demand, making it highly flexible. You can start with a digital copier, and add printing and scanning features to grow with business demands. KIP3100 systems are easily field upgradeable via software key codes. The standard front print delivery can be augmented with a rear print receiving tray for increased print collection in an unmanned environment, original and print stacking for higher volume copying applications and folding/stacking for fully finished output.

And KIP3100 is environmentally friendly. It is 100% toner efficient, so does not generate any waste. It prints onto recycled paper, and its features are designed to minimise paper waste. Additionally it is Energy Star Qualified, ROHS Compliant, meets ISO 14001 Standards and is equipped with Ozone Emission Filters. The product is UL/UL-C and CE approved.

The KIP3100’s combination of functionality, productivity and environmental awareness has been recognised with the Bertl Best Award for the best decentralised wide format MFP for 2008.
