Paradigm Imaging Group Announces Printer Enhancements for the EIS SUPRA System.
Paradigm Imaging Group, a leading supplier of large-format scanning, printing and document archiving solutions, has announced the second generation of the large format multi-function system, the EIS Supra.
The EIS Supra, a turnkey system designed for a broad range of applications including Facility Management, CAD, GIS and Reprographics, maintains a user-friendly interface while providing sophisticated new printer features. The system provides solutions for rapidly growing market needs in scanning, copying, printing and distributing large-format documents and graphic images.
The EIS Supra now includes:
The scanning function of the Supra’s Graphtec SK200 incorporates proven, advanced contact image sensor technology featuring a maximum scanning width of 36" and true 600 dpi optical resolution with black & white/grayscale/full-color capability. The scanning top speed is 6ips in black and white at 400dpi and 2ips in color also at 400dpi.
The high-performance Rocket™ controller houses a 2.8 GHz Pentium®4 processor with 1GB DDR and 80 GB hard drive, and is custom designed for delivering the resources required to seamlessly manage large graphic files and other documents. The Rocket™ controller is pre-installed with ImageFLOW software, which provides the user-friendly interface and the overall system control. It is also integrated with a 15" LCD touch-panel monitor and a compact 101 keyboard with touch pad, further enhancing the ergonomics of the system operation.
The ImageFLOW software, preinstalled on the Rocket™ Controller, provides an easy-to-use interface and intuitive operation while maintaining the powerful and full-featured capabilities required for a broad range of projects. The large control buttons on its main control screen are designed to provide a feel and functionality similar to that of an office copier and is fully compatible with the touch-panel monitor included with the EIS Supra.
The key features of the system software include:
The Canon IPF imagePROGRAF 710 is a 36" wide, five-color inkjet printer. It contains five 1" print heads with a total of over 15,000 nozzles. Ink wells have a maximum capacity of 130ml each. The Canon iFP700 printer is connected directly to the Rocket controller through a USB cable or to the Ethernet.
A single-footprint system rack integrates the scanner (positioned over the output printer), Rocket controller, touch-panel LCD monitor and keyboard in an ergonomically organized fashion, thereby streamlining system operation and easily adapting to a limited floor space situation. All system components are fully integrated for ease of use and flexibility addressing a variety of applications in the document archiving, reproduction and file transferring tasks.
The EIS Supra US list price is $16,995.00. All EIS systems are covered by 1 year limited warranty.
